About Alan McFarlane

Multi-certified across AWS & Azure and a graduate from Liverpool John Moores University, where I studied Computer Forensics, obtaining an overall award grade of 'First class with hons'. I have 9 years' experience working in large enterprises, majority of this time in financial services before moving into pharmaceutical/consumer health industries. I spent the early part of my career in Windows Server teams supporting internal infrastructure, before moving into Cloud DevOps Roles supporting/building on the cloud. Following that, I moved on to multiple roles working in Cloud Engineering/Architecture teams, building cloud platforms and services, on top of providing application teams solutions that will accelerate their journey to public cloud. I am currently in a consulting role designing and deploying infrastructure, applications and services, leveraging advanced cloud technologies to create and safeguard innovative solutions with the right cloud practices, and foundations that meet and exceed business requirements.
