Son of the founder Terry Pickering (TJP Electronics Ltd), I was originally responsible for the first All Electric CNC Tube Bending Machine control system @UnisonLtd. Having worked here for the majority of my career, the best part of my job is the people I work with, a real family - full of people that have got your back. I have always had a passion for British manufacturing and inspiring youngsters to consider STEM as a career, I was a driving force behind Scarborough Science and Engineering Week and a founder of Scarborough UTC. What I really love is R&D and developing new processes and equipment to make our customers lives easier. Not quite a mad inventor, although my wife might disagree!
