Until July, I was employed as Store Manager by Jones Bootmaker, a leading luxury footwear retailer, managing two sites with a combined turnover of over £1.7 million. I have trained and developed teams at both sites to increase sales and customer service skills resulting in award winning performance and recognition as top store in the company. During my career, which has centred on the management of retail footwear stores selling leading brands such as Barkers, Loakes and Jones Bootmaker, I have acquired the business acumen and drive to identify opportunities to promote sales and build on revenue, consistently achieving KPIs and exceeding targets. An approachable manager, I enjoy leading, supporting and motivating both individuals and teams, enabling them to realise their potential and achieve personal and organisational objectives while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and returning business. My experience covers all aspects of retail management including administration, the timely submission of figures and documentation and I am skilled in financial management, stock control and staff supervision. Adaptable and resourceful, I am proactive in identifying areas for improvement, introducing measures to streamline operations and enhance profitability as well as seasonal trends and market opportunities to promote brand offers.
