About Alan Quinn

I've been working in the telecoms, collaboration & Contact Center industry for 30 years. Starting from the ground up as an apprentice & then field engineer with a digital telephone system vendor. For the last 23 years I have been working with Cisco collaboration & contact center solutions. This started at Cable & Wireless with prerouted intelligent contact management & then deployment of Unified Contact Centre Enterprise solutions in countries across the world. I joined Cisco in 2010 to help develop & deploy their 1st Contact Centre as a Service for RBS in the UK. After successful deployment of this service I then moved into a Solutions Architect role for the RBS account. To further develop my skillset I then moved into product management within Cisco Managed Services. My primary focus was to update the Customer Care as a Service portfolio. I had responsibility for feature development, pricing & marketing of the CCaaS solution. My current role is Technical Solutions Architect within the Collaboration & Contact Center sales organisation. This role allows me to utilise the experience gained in these diverse roles to support our sales organisation & customers to maximise the investment in their Cisco solutions.
