About Alan Ryan

I am a technology public relations practitioner, strategist, writer, and editor with more than 30 years’ experience in both agency and in-house PR programs, as well as journalism. I began my career in publishing with a long stint as a writer and editor at Computerworld, the largest trade publication of any kind in the U.S. at that time. After moving into tech PR, I have worked with a variety of clients, large and small, and across many technology disciplines. Large-scale, enterprise customers have included ams, NXP, AMD, Lotus Development Corporation (now part of IBM), Digital Equipment Corporation (now HPE), ThinFilm, AdaCore, SOTI, and others. I have also represented a variety of tech companies making their way into the U.S. market from Israel, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Canada, and other nations. Startups I’ve worked with include 3D cultivated meat pioneer MeaTech; 3D printing machinery company Nano Dimension, whose technology creates 3D printed working circuit boards; high-efficiency solar wafer process pioneer NexWafe; enterprise software delivery platform company Codefresh; data science/ML/AI company Iguazio; security tech companies including Versasec, KeyNexus and PerfectCloud; location technology specialists including Senion (now part of Verizon); telematics companies including Telematics Wireless and Ayyeka; and many others ranging from networking (Compass Networks) to advertising platforms (CXense) to water tech and air quality pioneers TaKaDu and EnVerid; and co-location data center builder vXchange among others.
