I'm an experienced local government attorney whose practice consists of providing legal advice to the City School Board, the City Council, and the respective agencies, officers, and employees of the City. I am the primary trial attorney for the City of Danville, and I maintain an active trial practice that includes representing the School Board in juvenile truancy cases and includes representing the Department of Social Services in foster care cases, abuse/neglect cases, and adult protective services cases. My practice further involves litigating on behalf of the City in employment law matters, preparing motions, pleadings, contracts, and legislation. My duties also involve conducting legal research, providing input to managers regarding legal policy issues, and evaluating statutes, ordinances, and other regulatory provisions.
