I was trained as an interventional cardiologist in the pioneering days of that specialty. I have since added additional certifications in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and cardiovascular CT. I have broadened my activities to include teaching and clinical research. I have held several leadership positions in different organizations including physician practices, hospitals and universities. I was the principal investigator for dozens of Phase II, and IV clinical trials. I later added an additional specialty - sleep medicine. I have been board certified since 2011. I am currently retired from cardiology practice. I continue to oversee the sleep medicine division of Nevada Heart & Vascular Center. The sleep center includes a 12 bed sleep laboratory and follow-up program which are integrated within a large cardiology practice.
