About Alan Stuart

I am a projects lawyer based in Edinburgh with over 30 years experience in assisting clients to achieve their goals. ​After qualifying I worked in two of Scotland's largest legal practices, I then spent 17 years in a large and well respected Scottish law firm based in both Edinburgh and Glasgow and was a partner in the Commercial department for 12 years. I established my own firm Stuart & Co in February 2014 with my friend and colleague Mark Lawson. I am a member of the Society of Computers and the Law. I am a member of the International Bar Association Space Law Committee. I am accredited as a Legal Technologist by the Law Society of Scotland I am one of the few UK members of the International Institute of Space Law. This membership requires the IISL Committee to vote you on as a member based on your work in the Space sector. I am a consultant for other Law Firms in relation to IT and other commercial contracts. We have clients operating in USA, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Central America and China and of course in the UK.
