About Alan Temby

My name is Al Temby and I am a Visual Designer. I reside in Kokomo Indiana. I have been designing Marching Band and Drum Corps shows for 47 years. I also write staging for Indoor Percussion, Winterguard and Indoor Winds. I have used the Pyware Drill Design Program for over 20 years. In the last 47 years I have written for around 40 State Champion Bands, and at least as many 2nd and 3rd Place finishers at State Championship level competitions. The bands that I work with are from all over the United States. I write for Bands of ALL Sizes and ALL levels of competition and performance. No Bands too large or too small. I have written for-6 World Class Drum Corps, including the 2005 & 2006 Blue Stars -18 Indiana State Champion Bands and over 100 Indiana State Finalists, Including 50 top 3 finishers-Around 22 State Champion Bands outside of Indiana- 6 BOA Class Champions. I have judged Marching Band Competitions in 11 States, including several State and Circuit Championships. In 2024 I wrote 46 shows for high school bands in many states across the country. I currently write for 4 college bands: Purdue University, Illinois University, the University of Wisconsin and OLE MISS. I am glad to assist you in any way I can.
