About Alan Vasconcelos

Hi, I'm a UX designer/engineer with solid experience in applying user-centered design methods and techniques (even if it means getting my hands dirty with code). Since 2006 I've been working on prototyping, usability tests and user research. Since then, I have also worked on analysis and implementation of web accessibility for government portals, as well for large companies. I am very enthusiastic about this topic. Because of this, in 2012 I finished my master's degree in Information Science, about accessibility in legislative portals. As a UX designer, I have worked closely with the tech team, proposing better solutions, combining usability, technical feasibility and business potential. I currently work at R/GA as Experience Design Director, serving clients such as Google Cloud, Pfizer, Fundação Bradesco, Goldman Sachs and PwC. As a consultant, I gave lectures and workshops for large companies and government agencies such as Banco do Brasil, BDMG, Ministério do Meio-Ambiente (Ministry of Environment), SEPLAG-MG (Minas Gerais Department of Planning), Sebrae-MG and Diamantina Prefecture.
