About Alan Wang

I am a proven senior leader. My career passion is program and technical leadership. I currently manage the PMO group in ADCS (aerospace and defense custom solutions) at Keysight. My responsibilities includes managing PM resources, P&L, budget tracking, risk management, solution life cycle and development, as well as working collaboratively with the cross functional teams for growth opportunities and improve deliver efficiency, and most importantly maintaining best customer satisfaction. In my previous role, I managed a cross-functional engineering team to deliver projects in a fast-moving commercial market. My job function included building business strategy, product roadmap, evaluate return of investment, risk mitigation, resource management, project management, product life cycle and budget tracking. I am also a certified SAFe 4.0 (scaled agile framework) agilist. I love to develop talents in the team. I have experience leading large development teams to deliver projects on schedule and meeting requirements. I represented engineering function and work with business development and marketing groups to define new products. I also worked with customers to close large business deals. I have worked in research and product development for more than 17 years. I have managed oversea suppliers with ODM partners. I have led teams that worked with cell phone companies to provide imaging technologies in a very fast pace product development life cycle where every second and penny counts. I have also led teams that worked on very expensive products such as thermal cameras priced at $20K+ each to satisfy high end customer needs. I have led and helped to acquire multi-million dollar business. I am both technical and business minded. I have system level thinking and dollar sense that can help any business scale. I have a Ph.D. in engineering. My education background strengthens my technical ability to lead functional teams, develop new products and work with business functions to define new product requirements and market introduction. I currently hold several patents and publications in the scientific field.
