About Alan Young

Al earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Mass Communications-Broadcasting, from North Greenville College (now a University) in Finishing up his last semester at NGC, his sole time was devoted to an internship with a local video company as a Video Court Reporter. He remained there after graduation. Shortly thereafter, he became a Certified Legal Video Specialist under the National Court Reporters Association. While doing 463 video depositions as a video court reporter, he began to grow to like Law. When his position was eliminated without warning, he immediately went back to school to obtain his Paralegal Certificate. He thrived in this environment and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. This accomplishment earned him the honor and induction into Lambda Epsilon Chi, the National Paralegal Honor Society. After a short one-year stent in private practice as a real estate paralegal for residential closings, he moved onto the National (and Global) stage for the next 16 years with a Family Dining Restaurant chain known by many. After demonstrating his expertise under the Real Estate Attorney and General Counsel, Al took on all legal aspects of the Real Estate matters for the company’s national restaurants, their owned property and their leased property, reaching the rank of Senior Legal Analyst. “For the over 16 years, I took care of the real estate legal aspects for a company that ran one restaurant concept, feeding people. I look forward to now being a part of taking care of the real estate aspects for a company that owns and operates many different restaurant concepts and other commercial real estate.”
