About Alana Lyons

My interests are creating experiences for people through systems & processes, from creating tangible prototypes to designing the clothes we wear. I am fascinated about the connection between the environment and people. This inspires me to design better solutions so these two vital components are in sync. This passion of mine excites me to work in an innovative workplace where I can use my talents in designing excellent services for people and create memorable customer experiences for all businesses. My Fashion Degree helped me explore and discover my curiosity in Sustainable practises and design approaches such as the Cradle-to-Cradle concept. The end-to-end journey truly excites my passions. This inspired me to upskill into Service Design at Academy Xi. I am now equipped for project researching, interviewing, insight exploration, journey maps & blueprint illustrations, Story Telling, Concept making, Ideation, Testing, set the style of presentation and delivery of the project to Clients. Having customer service experience allowed me to learn how to engage with customers, understanding what makes them feel comfortable to open up to me about their needs. I create a trustworthy rapport with these customers which assisted me in better connection and understanding towards them.
