About Alayna Nelson

Hi! I'm Alayna!I am a student at the University of South Carolina studying Finance & Operations and Supply Chain in the Darla Moore School of Business. From a young age I have loved math and working with numbers, so I knew I wanted to go into Finance. After hearing stories from my mom about her work in Supply Chain it sparked an interest in me, so I decided to add it as a second major and have loved gaining knowledge in this profession.Between now and graduation, I hope to not only grow my skills in Finance and Supply Chain but also become well-rounded in all business practices and how they interface. Darla Moore offers a wide variety of classes, and I have and will continue to take advantage of those opportunities to learn as much as possible in the upcoming years!Professionally, I am always looking for opportunities to learn and grow through my operations internship as well as extracurriculars. I love taking on new tasks out of my comfort zone and saying yes to as much as I can. Possibilities are endless!Alayna Nelsonalaynanel@gmail.comColumbia, SC | Waukesha, WI
