About Alba Cappellieri

Alba Cappellieri, Ph.D. is Full Professor at the Politecnico di Milano where she is the Head of Jewellery and Accessories Design. She is a member of the Scientific Committees of the Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels in Paris, of the Cologni Foundation, of the Altagamma Awards in Milan, of the Watches and Jewellery Initiative Education Board. She is the director of the International Master in Jewelry & Accessories at the Politecnico di Milano. From 2015 to 2017 she was president of the Women Jewelry Association Italy. In 2014 she founded and directed the Vicenza Jewellery Museum. She is specialized in research, curation, branding, storytelling and innovation on luxury, jewelry, arts and design and she works with the most important jewelry brands, including Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, Buccellati and Tiffany. She has published several books dedicated to jewellery and design. Alba Cappellieri, Ph.D. è professore Ordinario al Politecnico di Milano dove è Head of Jewellery and Accessory Design. E’ nel Comitato Scientifico dell'Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels a Parigi, della Fondazione Cologni, degli Altagamma Awards a Milano ed è nell Education Board della Watches and Jewellery Initiative. E' direttore del Master in Jewelry & Accessories al Polidesign. Dal 2015 al 2017 è stata presidente della Women Jewellery Association Italy. Nel 2014 ha ideato, fondato e diretto il Museo del Gioiello di Vicenza. Ha curato mostre internazionali sui nuovi scenari del gioiello, sul design e sul lusso ed è autrice di numerose pubblicazioni dedicate al gioiello, alle arti e al design, con un focus sullo storytelling per maison tra cui Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, Buccellati e Tiffany.
