About Alba Simon

Currently teaching a class called Industrial Design / Product Design and Animation at a High School level program. The class is composed of the various subjects: Engineering Design Process Fundamentals, processes, graphical representations using Inventor Professional, product and project design and development. Students create projects based on real-life scenarios, they use 3D printers, laser cutters, cnc machines to explore their ideas further and create prototypes. In addition, classes explore 3D-Modeling and Animation using 3ds Max. Students create environments for a digital product experience and recently we are exploring in making the games interactive by integrating programming programs such as Unity. Students also sketch, use photoshop and Illustrator for their oral presentations and presentation boards. Most of the students who joined the class move on to study Engineering, Architecture, Product Design, Automotive Design and/or Computer Graphics. Teaching, facilitating and guiding students in fulfilling a project that they are passionate about is priceless.
