About Albert Behling

I have 17 years of experience in leadership positions and program development. My experience developing and leading high quality programs includes: Creating the most comprehensive and high quality Aquatics Program the Utah National Parks Council had to date. I revived the sailing program and brought the number of operational sail boats from two to eight. I brought in a snorkeling program and improved the ability for scout leaders to lead their own expeditions by training them in required skills and safety protocols. I also provided very high quality training to my staff which allowed me and my team to be a benchmark for safety, quality, and skill. There was not a better more fulfilling Aquatics Program in the Utah National Parks Council. The quality of the Program lead me to serve as a consultant for other Aquatics Programs in the Council. Improved student led campus wellness program that held more activities and provided more programs which resulted in engaging more students than in previous years. I also created wellness programs that engaged the surrounding rural communities. Created a comprehensive 40 hour orientation for Discovery Ranch for Girls and also coordinated and created continued training for the staff. This lead to a significant increase in positive culture and retention for employees. I also created systems and procedures to create consistency and safety. I wrote content for an employee handbook that provided reference, skills, techniques, etc. for staff to lean on.
