About Albert Bruneau

17 years of experience in various top management positions in the industry, including 10 years as general director and 6 as a corporate officer backed by an American turnaround fund. I am particularly familiar with the energy, nuclear, oil & gas, engineering metallurgy, automotive and agri-food sectors. I have a solid methodological background, forged within large industrial groups such as Air Liquide or Vallourec. In addition, I learned project organization in large engineering firms such as Wood Group. My last mandate, alongside an American turnaround fund, allowed me to reorganize and develop several companies in France and abroad (Korea, China, India, USA). Confronted for six years with various complex situations, I was able to develop and execute a large number of operations which gives me a concrete and very broad knowledge of the acquisition and turnaround processes- Asset transfer and acquisition- Carve-out process following spin off- Financial recovery plans- Structuring of organizations- Improved efficiency, including by adapting the workforce to the volume of activity- Repositioning on new markets. All these actions have improved the company's net cash position by 16 million euros. I have a unique experience of negotiation with all the industrial, commercial, institutional or social players. To which should be added a large experience of intercultural management. I like analysing complex situations requiring the development of innovative and, if necessary, breakthrough strategies. I am in favour of a direct and pragmatic management allowing the achievement of shared objectives. I am going on this exciting adventure on new challenges within the D&I firm.
