Albert Johnson is a Social Media Consultant/Manager, VR/AR Developer, Game Programmer, Sound Design Specialist, and Full-Stack Developer who has created and contributed to experiential marketing campaigns and shipped applications for HBO (The Defiant Ones), Mozilla, Warner Bros/Atlantic Records, Google, Sony + more. His artistic and coding contributions have been featured in many publications and media outlets including Interview Magazine, Billboard, HBO, MTV, Pitchfork, The Fader + more. He is also founder, Lead Developer, Lead Designer and Chief Creative Officer of AUTOMOTOR, a creative studio focused in client-side mobile-responsive web apps and experiential marketing based in Soho, New York City. His experience has allowed him to produce interactive entertainment and lifestyle news reports, music videos and commercials through creative coding, built with Unity, Unreal Engine, A-Frame, Playcanvas, Three.js, HTML, C#, C+, Javascript, React, Scenekit, ARkit, ARcore, Babylon, and Cry Engine. He is also an alumni member of NEW INC, a museum-led incubator and artist initiative started by the New Museum of Contemporary Art. He believes that the interconnectivity of our modern world allows us to address humanity’s largest concerns, and that the intersection between art and technology serves as the platform to highlight those concerns.
