About Albert Kruger

I am a Basic Mine Surveying certificate graduate from the Chamber of Mines of South Africa and have a total of nine years mining experience. My exposure is in open cast mining in the feldspar industry. My career is currently inclined to opencast surveying. Since my career is still in its early stages I am driven to develop my personal, leadership, professional, entrepreneurial and technical competencies as to become a fully-fledged Mining Surveyor who is able to apply himself innovatively in serving the Mining Industry. My objective is to be part of a planning and management team for a dynamic and challenging business with particular interest in meeting the surveying & drafting needs in the mining industry contribute to your team with strong fault finding and problems solving skills, together with a hands-on approach and the ability to work in remote areas and challenging conditions. Capacity to read and interpret various structural, structural, mechanical engineering, mine plans and ISO drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude with the proven ability to confidently install water irrigation for dust suppression. Consistently uphold and adheres to workplace OH & S and environmental policies and procedures. Sound problem solving skills with the ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles in a safe and efficient manner. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels at all levels and from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated commitment to participate in safety programs and actively encourages personnel participation. Proven ability to adhere to technical procedures, follows instructions and works efficiently without supervision. Capacity to maintain a high level of attention to detail and consistently produces a high standard of work. Improving ergonomics in department and work flow.
