About Albert Simonyi

I became Head of Audit at KPMG in Hungary in June 2024 and am extremely proud to support our colleagues in the Audit Department of KPMG in Hungary and beyond. In this role, I am committed to driving excellence and innovation in our audit services, focusing on both local and regional markets. I joined KPMG in 2003, and since then, I've dedicated myself to elevating our Hungary practice into a recognized center of competence for centralized services audit within the KPMG network. Throughout my journey, I have played a pivotal role in supporting the development of our business, contributing to several major international deals that have shaped our success. Beyond my responsibilities as Head of Audit, I also support the KPMG Global Statutory Audit Center of Excellence team, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of quality and expertise in our global operations. My passion lies in fostering growth, delivering exceptional client service, and leading our team to new heights. When I’m not on the road, my greatest joy is spending time with family and friends and run or ski together with my colleagues.
