Sinds 2004 werkzaam in de sport. Als "SRM expert", sportwetenschapper, embedded scientist, inspanningsfysioloog, ondernemer, trainer, en talentcoach. In 2013 in aanraking gekomen met aangepast wielrennen of para-cycling en daar sinds 2018 fulltime bij betrokken als coach. Als embedded scientist betrokken bij meerdere medailles op WK's en Olympische Spelen (kleine impact). Als trainer/coach meerdere sporters begeleidt die medailles haalden op WK's en Paralympische Spelen (grote impact). Als coach betrokken bij de ontwikkeling van jonge sporters met een beperking tot zelfstandige, zelfbewuste mensen (zeer grote impact). Sinds 2020 externe promovendus aan de Vrije Universiteit, ook over aangepast wielrennen, namelijk tandem wielrennen.
