I have been in the Cellular Industry for the last 24 years. From Logistics Management, Co-ordination, Planning, Project Management to ‘In-the-field’ services; I have expanded both my knowledge and experience. Along with my formal training, this knowledge and experience I’ve gained have ensured me an advantage to excel in all areas of working and maintaining the Vodacom GSM network. My ability to assess and understand problems have increased and my knowledge of GSM Equipment and Logistics is first-rate; thus giving me the proficiency to think on my feet. I have the skill to Plan Logistics Procedures, and to configure GSM Equipment. I compile stock and budget requirements for the capacity upgrades, and maintenance equipment for the Vodacom Network. I manage the Logistics, for all Network Projects, co-ordinate the recovered equipment, maintenance equipment, RAN swap and new equipment projects for the Network. Overall I have an outstanding knowledge of Logistics processes and all GSM equipment used in the Vodacom Network, be it for new installations, capacity upgrades, maintenance or recovered equipment. Asset management for GSM Network equipment is under my control which I manage via an Asset Management System that the company now uses for all Assets. I have been involved in developing and implementing a mobile solution for the Asset Management System to be used in the field by the Technical (Mobile) Staff. I implemented and maintain the Electronic Waste Disposal Processes.
