About Alberto Cruccas
I'm graduated in Conservation of Architectural and Ambiental Heritage at University of Cagliari (Italy). I start working with GIS and WebGis during my thesis job. I worked with Professor Michele Argiolas from 2008, contributing to his investigation work at the Laboratorio di Estimo in DIT (Department of Land Engineering), University of Cagliari. The main area of research involved the design and development of GIS based on open source technologies. Purpose of this research was, at first, the management and promotion of cultural heritage and, later, the Real Estate market analysis and other issues related to land's economic aspects. I consolidated my GIS knowledge during an UNESCO Master (Open Source Technologies for Cultural Heritage) and working with Geographike Srl and Beecome Srl, in Siena (Italy). With these companies I developed WebGis applications based on open source workflow. The main focus of my job was the styling and the creation of thematic cartography. At the same time I started projecting Location Intelligence systems dedicated to Real Estate Market.
