About Alberto Galvan

I am currently a full-time student at San Diego State University, as well as a near-full-time crew lead and solar PV installer at Milholland Electric. Through my current level of education and extensive work experience, I have gained a passion for Engineering, especially for the field of Electrical Engineering. I am hardworking, goal-oriented, highly organized and diligent with good leadership and teamwork abilities, as well as a detail-oriented nature. I am currently working on obtaining my Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, hoping to graduate by 2023. My over 7 years of experience in the solar and construction industries have made me a resourceful and tech-savvy Solar Panel Installer, proficient in setting up photovoltaic modules at commercial and residential properties, having installed a broad selection of solar panel systems. Through my crew lead/management positions, I have learned to listen to customers, understand job requirements, lead team-members, and pinpoint solutions to technical challenges, either with everyday issues that show up on the job or during repairs as a solar technician. As a crew lead, I also have extensive experience in training new team members on how to complete safe and fully functioning installations.
