Background

About Albertus Viljoen

I am a confident and committed Landscape Architect who is self-motivated and self-sufficient with a strong background in Landscape Architecture, planning, project management, ecological- and urban design. I am passionate about the environment and strive to always find a means to creatively merge the ecological essence of the world we live in, to create spaces where nature and people both thrive. Ecological, environmental and rehabilitation planning is the key to the success of modern day landscape architectural practice. Teamwork is KEY! I am proud and enthusiastic in being a landscape architect. Design for people and nature, create spaces and environments where people want to play, linger, live, enjoy and stay. Scale is what defines space and every environment, from a small private garden to a vast parkland, each has a unique fabric that gives it identity. The resolve is to engage with people and the environment through research and observation, with a keen understanding of history, culture and the natural environment, enabling us to successfully translate needs into detail design, technical resolve and healthy environments that invoke excitement.
