About Albin Joseph

I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) student at University of Calicut, with a focus on community development. I have a passion for social welfare and a motivation to make a positive impact in the lives of others.As part of my MSW program, I have completed two internships at Bangalore Oniyavara Seva Coota (BOSCO) and Centre For Life Skills Learning, where I gained valuable experience and skills in social work and creative communication. At BOSCO, I worked with a team of dedicated social workers who provided care and support to vulnerable children and youth in the city. I assisted in conducting outreach programs, counseling sessions, and awareness campaigns, as well as documenting and reporting the cases and outcomes. At Centre For Life Skills Learning, I learned how to manage accounts, advertise services, and present proposals to clients and stakeholders. I have also earned certifications in social media and content creation, which I use to promote social causes and raise awareness. I have created and posted engaging and informative content on various platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, reaching a large and diverse audience. I have also participated in online workshops and webinars to enhance my knowledge and skills in this domain.My goal is to become a professional and competent social worker who can contribute to the social development and empowerment of marginalized and oppressed groups. I am eager to learn new skills, take on new challenges, and collaborate with other social workers and organizations.
