Alden Copen began his creative journey in Northern Ohio, studying Visual Media Technologies at EHOVE Vocational School. There, he gained hands-on experience with printing technologies, HTML coding, and design principles, while earning certifications in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and IC3. As a member of the Business Professionals of America, he developed strong communication skills and the ability to apply industry knowledge in professional settings. Determined to further refine his craft, Alden moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to attend The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. During this time, he cultivated his personal style, mastered the Adobe Creative Suite, and developed a passion for print design and personal branding. His collaborative project, Rise of the College Vegan for PGHYou magazine, was prominently displayed at the Art Institute, showcasing his ability to merge creativity and teamwork to deliver impactful visual content. Now a newcomer to Toronto with a valid and unrestricted Canadian work permit, Alden is eager to bring his diverse skill set to a forward-thinking organization that values adaptability, creativity, and community impact. With professional experience spanning customer care, retail management, hospitality, and graphic design, he has successfully led sales coordination efforts, optimized digital marketing campaigns, and managed operations in fast-paced environments. Alden thrives in collaborative settings where he can combine his organizational, design, and problem-solving abilities to create meaningful results and foster positive relationships.
