Before working at iStorage (current position) I had been playing around with hardware security, flashing ROM chips on laptops to storing encryption keys in the TPM. I always keep up to date with the latest security flaws and fixes. This was due to some of the private high-value bug bounty projects I was working on, including financial & critical infrastructure companies. One of my first security vulnerabilities I found, which I received a bounty for, was just before May 2019 when I was only 14 years old. I found a remote code execution bug, taking advantage of directory traversal through proprietary API's, which I enumerated myself. Since then, I've always been fascinated in the ability to "walk through a brick wall", seemingly impossible tasks somehow always have a solution. I've always had a different perspective from most pen testers, usually surprising them when I find something. While working at iStorage, everyday when I got home, I would always been researching and finding new ways to improve my work-flow and learn new & existing techniques/methods. I would then try to create a fix them only from public information online. Meaning, if I found a different approach to an already existing flaw, then only use public information, it shows that anyone could take advantage of such issue, anywhere at any time. Proving I didn't need any extra, inside information or proprietary code to exploit. I always love to learn new things and am constantly on the search for new unique ideas and methods for breaking down and patching systems. I am willing to learn anything, as knowledge is power and with power comes responsibility.
