About Aleah Mohammad

I am a PhD holder at Liverpool John Moores University, studying the heart of elite footballers. I am currently investigating the physiological and pathological changes in athlete’s heart and the differentiation from cardiac disease including cardiomyopathies. With my current training with the specialist and expertise people in the area, I had developed an experience and confidence in cardiovascular screening among elite athletes and gained the knowledge that required to successfully supporting the cardiovascular screening in the field and laboratory. My future research plan are to build the way to estimate the potential impact of cardiovascular screening for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease on disease burden and socioeconomic inequalities in health in England, and to find the best screening with alternative practical strategies.
