An experienced, versatile, and professional public relations and communications specialist taking the next step.I began my journey in this industry following my graduation from Arizona State's Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications in the spring of 2019. I began to plot my path to working in professional sports by accepting my first full-time position to serve as the Media Relations Manager for the Stockton Ports (then High-A for the Oakland Athletics) at the beginning of 2020.My time with the Ports was cut short due to the pandemic but I was able to learn the ropes of professional sports serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications for the organization. I contributed written content for the team's website and managed all social media channels. I learned how to be creative in cultivating content without games as the Minor League Baseball season was canceled due to the pandemic. I then stayed in the Stockton area to begin assisting the University of the Pacific's athletic communications team working game days as well as assisting in sports information work as the primary contact for men's and women's tennis, men's golf, and cross country programs. Built some skills working with Adobe Creative Suite, Genius Sports, StatCrew, NCAA Manager, and Sidearm Sports. I then moved on to my latest position as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications with the University of San Francisco where I worked for the last two athletic seasons. I served as the primary point of contact for USF women's basketball, baseball, women's soccer, men and women's tennis, cross country, track and field and, beach volleyball. Ran events for all ticketed USF sports that included managing the scorer's table, keeping official statistics, creating in-game content for social media, and running post game press conferences.
