About Alec Jackson

I am a public policy specialist with experience across a range of health policy in the UK. I currently work on supply resilience policy, working with colleagues in government, the NHS and industry to help ensure continuity of supply of medicines and medical products. I also have experience across regulatory development and reform, emergency preparedness and response, and global health policy.In my current role I lead an innovative programme of work exploring and enabling the use of drones to improve resilience in healthcare supply chains for the benefit of patients and the NHS. Please do get in touch if you are working on this.I am a senior leader with an excellent understanding of UK governance, experience engaging and delivering objectives with C-suite executives, and a wide-ranging network including Parliamentarians, senior UK Government officials, NHS and Life Science industry leaders. I enjoy creating certainty from ambiguity on cross-cutting policy challenges. I lead teams to develop and deliver strategic, sustainable policy approaches in response to urgent and complex needs. I thrive under pressure, having worked for UK Health Ministers during the COVID-19 pandemic and delivered public system interventions on the ground during South Sudan’s civil war.
