About Alec L.

I am currently a sophomore studying finance and economic consulting at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and Hutton Honors College aspiring to become a leading professional in the financial services industry. I am an ambitious individual that can effectively lead and collaborate with others in an effort to achieve team goals. I pride myself on volunteer work and giving back to my community to benefit a wide variety of entities and individuals. This passion can be attributed through my invaluable experience serving on the Executive Committee on Marlboro Township’s Teen Advisory Committee, in which I helped organize and promote various community service initiatives. I also participated in the Federal Reserve Challenge throughout high school, in which I worked alongside team members to conduct research on the U.S. economy and present a practical solution for the Federal Reserve to implement. These experiences have sharpened my leadership, public speaking, and analytical skills, which I have carried forward into my college career thus far and plan to incorporate into all my future endeavors. Some notable organizations I am currently involved in at Indiana University include the Financial Services Club and Kelley Portfolio Management Club.
