About Alec McCann

Park Road was started as a boutique Human Capital Consulting firm focused on the Professional Service's market. It was my ambition to build a nimble, client-centric search business using the best Executive Search processes whilst providing transparent pricing and clear communication. This has morphed into a market-leading boutique focused on Consulting and Financial Services. We provide Executive Search, but our sweet spot is lifting teams and finding businesses for our clients to buy. How do you expand your offering or geography quickly and cost-effectively? Let us find you a team from a competitor and bring them over - buy the talent whilst leaving what you don't need behind. For smaller companies and start-ups we will take a portion of our fee in equity - let's share the risk and the reward. For exceptional candidates we run a process more akin to being a football agent. Where do you want to work? What role do you want? Let us identify 5-10 target companies and approach them on your behalf. Let us build, guide and enable your career and ambitions. Finally we donate a percentage of all revenue to provide full educational bursaries to talented children in South Africa to attend leading schools. We have had great success and are happy to share these stories of children who had grasped an opportunity and changed their lives. We are nimble, agile and commercial. We solve our clients most challenging people and talent issues. For further details please call me on or email me on alec.mccann@park-road.comRecent completed mandates:Global Head of Delivery - Global Tech ConsultancyDirector Ai Financial Services Strategy - Global Ai ConsultancyPartner Ai Financial Services Risk and regulation - Global Ai ConsultancyRegional Team Debt advisory - Asia PacPartner/MD Debt Advisory - UKFS Agentic Ai Team acquisition - Global FS Consulting start upHead of UK Business Development - Large German InsurerCEO - Large UK Not for ProfitMD Fraud and Financial Crime - UK BankGroup Financial Controller - Not for ProfitFD - Not for ProfitHead of Iberian Portfolio Sales - European Asset ManagerGlobal 5/6G Advisory - Global FS Tech company Global Head of Capital Markets – Asset ServicingEMEA Head of Corporate Banking – Global Asian BankEMEA Head of FIG Coverage – Global BankHead of Treasury and Markets – Global Asian BankChief Risk Officer – Asian BankHead of Sales – Transaction BankingHead of Portfolio Sales – Investment Management
