About Alec Schroeter

I am looking for a new career as a ship, freight or marine insurance broker. I am also interested in working for a shipyard. I am already familiar with the ASBA charters, maritime insurance and other maritime subjects. I am ASBA Certified and already have a TWIC card. As an inspector with the fire department. As an Inspector I am a representative of the dept. I feel this experience has given me great customer service skills. Working in New York City I have also learned how to interact with diverse people. In my current position I've also set my own tasks and have learned to set priorities as I am responsible for setting my daily schedule. This involves time management, as I am required to account for every minute of my day. I also feel that this position comes with a lot of responsibility. I have been here for 15 years with little supervision. Being an inspector requires great attention to detail. I have been promoted twice due to hard work, professionalism and the willingness to learn new tasks. I hope to bring my talents to your company.
