About Alee Yang

I am a very outgoing individual who has a very upbeat, bubbly personality. I enjoy interacting with people and building relationships with others. I like to be of service to people and meet their needs in the ways that I can and know possible. I am always looking to learn and ask questions when I am unsure of a situation or seeking for clarification on a topic. I have worked in retail for about seven years, but have stepped away from the industry to work in an Optical Lab, currently, so I can pursue my education. In the time that I have worked in retail, I worked various roles that started in the Front End, from being a Cashier to being an Assistant Front End Manager. I have worked as a Shift Manager where I worked in different departments, filling in roles that were needed and closing up the store when the Store Directors were gone for the evening. Also, I was able to intern in Human Resources and later assisted, as well. In all the roles, I had to learn to work well in an under pressure environment, make hard decisions when there were situations that needed attention, prioritizing tasks, communicating well with my superiors and those under me, and making sure to always lead with honesty. I have gained many skills such as time management, problem-solving, decision-making, adaptability, teamwork and interpersonal skills along with communicating effectively with others. All in which will allow me to be a great fit for a company.
