About Aleit Veenstra
Aleit is passionate about both quantitative and qualitative research. She is creative, loves to communicate research in bite-size chunks and enjoys managing internal and external relations on a national and global level. Today she works as a research manager at NMO. Previously, she was leading several large continuous quantitative (television) audience measurement projects at GfK. Aleit successfully defended her PhD dissertation on film audiences,'Screen(ing) Audiences', at the University of Antwerp in December 2017. She holds a MSc (research) in sociology of culture, media and the arts from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and a MSc in sociology from the University of Amsterdam.
