About Alejandra Mazon

I was born in Mexico City and moved to New York when I was 19 y.o. I worked as a nanny while going to Laguardia Community College and doing part-time in the Mortgage Industry. Like many foreigners that we have moved to this great country, I wanted to take the opportunity that was given to me. I wanted to grow, and definitely, wanted to feel useful. This Industry has given me the opportunity to learn and utilize my skills and at the same time, I've been able to help so many families with the mortgage process to obtain their homes. Until now, I had good relationships with families that trusted me with their kids. My first mentors/employers in the industry, and clients that now I could call friends. I'm happy to say that I have received Appreciation and Recognition Certificates from some of my employers, not as a competition with my peers, but as a way for me to demonstrate to these companies that I value the opportunity they have presented me with. Challenges have been implanted in me early in age then for I'm always excited to learn new skills. Living in New York City is a great experience. It's not a place where you get impressed by "titles" but rather by diversity, the stories, the culture, the food, the resilience, and all of this is part of who I am.
