About Alejandra Rivera

I come from Mexico City, the largest city in North America and one of the most productive cities globally. With a natural curiosity, I have always been intrigued by studying the economic behaviors of companies and the underlying financial factors that drive economic growth. I pursued a degree in Finance in 2008 during the global spread of the subprime mortgage crisis, rapid escalation of home prices, and widespread business struggles due to a severe recession. Subsequently, in 2013, I embarked on my Economics studies as part of my professional development to comprehend the historical origins of wealth and scarcity. As a result of my education, I transitioned into a role as a Financial Analyst. I became involved with businesses where the management of risk perception became a critical factor due to numerous deficiencies in international management practices. I found my niche in which I could contribute value by enhancing compliance, collaborating with diverse teams, and reshaping corporate dynamics with trust and transparency. With a career spanning about 12 years in Corporate Finance, I have consistently supported the implementation of social, environmental, and digital initiatives through the development of financial tools. I have had the opportunity to assist executives in gaining insight into their concerns and resolving issues across various areas of the company. Additionally, I have overseen financial systems and processes and actively participated in budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics. My experience encompasses various industries, including clean energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, technology, and CPG, engaging in activities that facilitate quick decision-making and adaptation with a holistic approach that considers value impact in the marketplace, organizational maturity, and the alignment of planning and execution. My objective is to deliver excellence business reporting and specialized analytical tools to support the financial planning framework and facilitate informed discussions for long term successful goals.
