Mr. Alejandro Adell,(M) Dip. Architect (Argentina & Spain). Lean Construction expert. Extensive architectural practice as project designer and construction manager in Argentina, Chile and Spain for the development of single-family homes, collective residential buildings, private condominiums and urbanizations, mainly adopting integrated project delivery methods. Later he specialized in strategic marketing, product development, graphic design, packaging and communication materials. He has also worked as a consultant for a group of companies of the energy sector specialized in renewable energies, hot water and heating systems, photovoltaic energy, and water recycling. He has specialized as a consultant for the dermo pharmacy industry, customizing products for mass market and professional channels, providing support on product and branding, acting as a link between national and international Distributors and Laboratories Regulatory Affairs Managers, keeping constant public relations tracking with mass media, bloggers & influencers, to publicize products, generate news and media communication online & offline. He is OCTOPUSSY & Co Senior Project Manager for SPHERE and METABUILDING, both Horizon 2020 projects: • 2018-2022. Horizon 2020 Energy efficient Buildings project SPHERE (Service Platform to Host and SharE REsidential data), partner. SPHERE is the first EeB project to implement the Digital Twin concept in buildings. OCTOPUSSY & Co brings to the project innovative and collaborative techniques of construction and management such as Lean Construction through the implementation of Integrated Design & Delivery methods. We will implement these state-of-the-art collaborative frameworks and tools in the pilot sites through workshops, guidelines, and the use of the developed tools. • 2020-2023 Horizon 2020 INNOSUP project METABUILDING (METAclustering for cross-sectoral and cross-border innovation ecosystem BUILDING for the SMEs of the European construction, additive manufacturing, nature-based solutions, recycling and digital industrial sectors). OCTOPUSSY, as WP leader has designed and leads the Communication activities, mirroring the Cascade Funding to SMEs implemented in the project, with an innovative “cascade communication” approach to maximise the outreach to SMEs in clusters, including the building and management of stakeholders’ groups, website and social media content production and management.
