About Alejandro Alvarez

Hello everyone! I would like to share a little bit about myself. Since my senior year of high school (2020), I have served as a TEC Ambassador and was recognized as a Golden Ambassador of Campus Monterrey (professional level), a position granted for my performance and longevity in the program. This has led me to work directly with the Tec de Monterrey's National Recruitment and Admissions team. I am the recipient of the Leadership in Action Scholarship at TEC, which has allowed me to participate in many student groups, such as the Economics Student Society, the Student Participation Council, the Actúa Forum with presidential candidates, and the Student Tribunal—activities that I am passionate about. Outside of TEC, I have sought to participate in international courses and diplomas as an investment in my professional and personal development. I graduated from the Ignixion program in Seattle; a workshop on Experiences, Guidance, and Toolkits by "Leadership Academy," where we were trained in effective communication (2022), the Disney Imagination Campus Program at Walt Disney World in Florida (2023), and the International Cultural Experience of Tec Ambassadors in Montreal and Ottawa (2024). I also completed my CIT (Counselor in Training) course at Camp Mishawaka, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, endorsed by the American Camp Association in 2019. Finally, I am currently on a semester abroad at Copenhagen Business School, where I am pursuing a Minor in Economic Neuroscience, complementing my studies in Economics with my specialization in Finance.
