Primary experience in pulp and paper industry and dairy industry; heavily involved in managing and developing processes and tools to support the business and efficiency of financial services across the different business areas. Participated in the start-up of a 1.5B USD investment in Uruguay (pulp mill, free trade zone operator, and Uruguay holding company), planning and leading several administration and finance areas during construction and production phases assuring compliance with statutory and group requirements. Experienced auditor of many sectors, including, financial services, casinos, dairy producers, Medicare, shipyards, and rural companies. Teaching experience: 10 years in the Universidad de la República, Uruguay (Advanced accounting: IFRS, Uruguayan Corporate Law and Accounting under inflationary conditions) and 4 years in high school (mathematics).
