About Alejandro Cuevas Rivero

As an academic with over 10 years of experience at INACAP, I have taught courses in Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Requirements Management, Machine Learning, and Business Intelligence. My teaching approach focuses on educational innovation and business transformation, fostering both technical and strategic competencies in students to help them meet the challenges of the digital economy. My international training includes studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA), where I strengthened my vision in data science and emerging technologies, and an Executive Master’s in Artificial Intelligence at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence (IIA) in Spain, which allowed me to deepen my expertise in advanced AI architectures and their application in academic and business contexts. I have also collaborated with the University of Santiago, Chile (USACH) through the Institutional Learning Center (CAI), promoting initiatives in pedagogical innovation and active learning methodologies integrated with technology. In addition, I actively serve as a technical reviewer of specialized books in data science and artificial intelligence for the international publisher Manning Publications, contributing to the validation and quality of academic and technical works worldwide- Como académico con más de 10 años de experiencia en INACAP, he impartido asignaturas en Ingeniería, Inteligencia Artificial, Minería de Datos, Gestión de Requerimientos, Machine Learning y Business Intelligence. Mi labor docente está orientada a la innovación educativa y la transformación empresarial, desarrollando en los estudiantes competencias técnicas y estratégicas para enfrentar los desafíos de la economía digital. Mi formación internacional incluye el MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, EE. UU.), donde reforcé mi visión sobre ciencia de datos y tecnologías emergentes, y un Máster Ejecutivo en Inteligencia Artificial en el Instituto de Inteligencia Artificial (IIA) de España, que me permitió profundizar en arquitecturas avanzadas de IA y en su aplicación a contextos académicos y empresariales. He colaborado en la Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH) a través del Centro de Aprendizaje Institucional (CAI), impulsando iniciativas de innovación pedagógica y metodologías activas con integración tecnológica. Además, participo activamente como revisor técnico de libros especializados en ciencia de datos e inteligencia artificial para la editorial internacional Manning Publications.
