About Alejandro Dillon

Alejandro Dillon is Founding Partner of Columbus Merchant Banking and Co-Founder of Columbus Investment Banking. He has more than 30 years of successful investment banking and capital markets experience in Latin America, executing more than 150 deals and many of which are considered landmark transactions in the region. Actually, he is a Board Member at the Executive Committee of Oaklins, the world's most experienced mid-market M&A advisor partnership. Prior to joining Columbus, he held different senior positions at Citigroup for 18 years. During his career, Mr. Dillon has advised the Argentine Securities and Exchange Commission, Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and the Association of Banks of Argentina. He was a Board Member of the LBS International Alumni Board from to 2006. He was also Board Member of the Advisory Board at I.A.E. Business School’s Center for Entrepreneurship (Argentina) and he is a Member of the Argentine Council of Foreign Relations (C.A.R.I.) coordinating its Emerging Markets Group. Mr. Dillon has collaborated with Endeavor (Argentina), New Ventures (USA) and NESsT (Argentina) in private equity and venture capital issues. Mr. Dillon has been professor of the Master in Finance at Saint Andrew’s University (Argentina) from 2002 to 2007, he is frequent speaker and collaborator in Latin America seminars and publications.
