About Alejandro Dodorico

Petrophysicist with 17+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry. Started my career conducting integrated lab studies on core samples. After a short period on the services side, I joined a major operator, mostly for supervising logging and coring operations, first in Argentina and then in the U.S. While an expat, I was trained and began working as a petrophysicist. For the last 13+ years I’ve been conducting core-calibrated petrophysical evaluations in differente assets both in Argentina and USA for appraisal, field-development and enhanced-recovery projects. Evaluated assets targeted a wide range of reservoir types, including conventional, tight sands, naturally fractured, heavy-oil and thinly-laminated formations. Proficient with Python, always looking for writing new pieces of code to reduce evaluation times, expand commercial-softwares capabilities and increase industry-leading workflows flexibility. Recognized by peers and supervisors as a strong technical contributor and a natural mentor CORE QUALIFICATIONS: • Condition and evaluate OH/CH/LWD logs for geological, geophysical and static modelling workflows • Prepare RCA/SCAL core analysis programs; validate and interpret results to identify petrophysical parameters required for log interpretation • Develop and deploy core-calibrated petrophysical models using industry-leading workflows • On-site logging and coring supervision and real-time decision-making • Pyhton coding for workflow optimization, data analysis and visualization • Ability to work cooperatively and contextualize petrophysics in multi-disciplinary teams • Proficient in Interactive Petrophysics (IP) • Oral and writing communication skills in spanish (native) and english (proficient)
