About Alejandro Estrada

I am an experienced preparator, exhibition designer and visual artist. I have worked on exhibitions ranging from old master works, modern, contemporary, emerging, local, retrospective, fashion, architecture, installation, and time based media exhibitions. I aim to continue supporting both culturally enriching exhibitions and working contemporary artists here in Central Florida through my work with the AGB Museum FKA the Polk Museum of Art. My passions for art extend to my own practice which you can read about further below:)Artist Statement:My work explores man made objects and nature often looking through either a maximalist collection of objects or cropped close ups. Through these works I explore materiality, juxtaposing disparate, real and tangible objects while distorting, magnifying or simply calling attention a subject’s details. Objects can range from being culturally significant to everyday materials. By looking though a section you can sometimes see the entirety.
