About Alejandro Guerrero

With 22 years of professional experience in development policy research, evaluation, and public sector transformation, I am passionate about crafting context-driven solutions and evidence-based recommendations that improve the development effectiveness of governments and agencies. As the Co-lead of the Results Community at the OECD, I support bilateral and multilateral development institutions in their quest to improve their policies, systems, and delivery capacities and maximize their positive impact on global sustainable development. I have extensive expertise in governance, policy analysis and dialogue with senior officials, good communication skills, and a solid understanding of the multilateral development co-operation architecture. I have managed diverse teams and worked in multiple low and middle-income countries across Latin America, Africa and Asia, as well as the United States and Europe. I have also contributed to multiple publications, certifications, and awards in my field. I am a PhD in Public Policy and Government, and I hold a M.Sc. in Development Economics, a M.A. in Social Sciences, and a B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (and my French is getting better by the day!).
