Mechanical Engineer with experience in Medical Device Industry, Validations, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing Processes and Project Management. Started as a Materials Engineer at Hologic were I was in charge of material improvement projects, as well as component qualification and new products development. I gain experience in cost reduction strategies and supply chain risk mitigation at commodity level. I've worked in the validation process of various types of commodities: injection molded parts, thermoformed parts, extruded parts, machined parts, among others. Currently working as a Tooling & Fixtures Engineer designing automatic machines and fixtures for assembly lines. I have designed final inspection machines with high accuracy for the testing of final product of various product lines. Machine shop supervisor with strong knowledge in CNC operation, G-Code and CAM programming for milling machines. I've also worked with the Innovation Department in the development of prototypes for new products. Proactive and collaborative team player, skilled in project management and strong base in modern manufacturing processes. Expert in finding creative and effective solutions to new and complex problems. Good sense of humor, always with the desire to learn new challenging things.
