About Alejandro Meillon

As the Operations Control Manager for Halmar International, a preeminent heavy civil construction management firm specializing in a wide variety of infrastructure projects across several markets, I specialize in the development and implementation of financial controls to optimize business objectives. Under my direction, Halmar International created a formidable Planning and Control Department. Prior to joining Halmar International, I served as Administration, Finance, and Control (AFC) Manager for The Lane Construction Corporation, one of America’s leading contractors, specializing in large, complex civil infrastructure. As AFC Manager, I was tasked with overseeing general accounting, cost control, payroll, and procurement for Lane’s largest projects. I was also responsible for reviewing financial statements prepared in accordance under IAS/IFRS and U.S. GAAP, preparation of budgeting and forecasts, measuring project performance and cash management. While at Lane, I was selected to participate in Lane’s Emerging Leaders Forum; a company-wide program dedicated to recognizing and nurturing the next generation of company leaders. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in both Accounting and Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno, and hold the IFRS Certificate from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
