About Alejandro Olvera

Forever in pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. Lifelong student with a passion for embedded systems. Previously, I worked as the Scientific Instrument Technician for the University of North Texas (UNT) Computer Science and Engineering department (CSE). There I primarily provided support and subject-matter expertise for Computer Engineering Senior Design teams as well as establish and support specialized servers for CSE curriculum. Before that position, I worked for UNT as a Central Web Services student employee, improving response times and providing backend support for UNT’s web developers on UNT’s web servers. In my undergrad I was an Undergraduate Research Assistant where I successfully modified the Lego EV3 user interface to provide more visually accessible UI. If you catch me outside of work you may find me tinkering with various microcontrollers and sensors, cars, CAD, 3D printing, or gaming.
